Gypsum casting is ideal for small batch production. We manufacture AC4C-T6 castings with dimensional accuracy at CT4~5 level.
Gypsum casting is a casting method using gypsum molds. It can achieve a beautiful surface finish and dimensional accuracy comparable to die-cast products. It has good transferability and can reproduce embossed characters (such as part numbers and company logos) with a φ0.3 tool. It is ideal for producing prototypes, single items, and small lots, as well as for small quantities of various types. Since no molds are required, it can be provided with short lead times and low costs. It is particularly suitable for complex shapes, thin-walled, and hollow shapes that are difficult to manufacture through machining. The finished cast products are dimensionally measured using a three-dimensional measuring machine to ensure quality assurance. It can accommodate zero draft angles and undercuts, which are features of gypsum casting.
